RESEARCH

Research Interests

Atomic collisions: Using quantum collision theory to calculate the differential cross sections for electron impact ionization of atoms and ions, electron impact excitation of atoms and ions, and elastic scattering of electrons with atoms and ions.

Interaction of atoms and molecules with intense lasers: Study single- and double-ionization of atoms by intense short laser pulses, evaluate the electron momentum distributions and energy spectra by solving the time-dependent Schrodinger equation (TDSE), using the strong field approximation (SFA), and developing new efficient and effective theoretical model.

Research Grants Received

a. National Natural Science Foundation of China

b. Scientific Research Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars, State Education Ministry

c. Foundation for High-level Talents in Higher Education of Guangdong

d. STU Scientific Research Foundation for Talents
