报告摘要:
The internal structure of baryons is pivotal to understanding the non-perturbative nature of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). In this presentation, we systematically investigated the mass spectrum and internal structure of light baryons and hyperons via the quark-diquark Faddeev equation approach. Quantitative spectrum analysis shows that the Λ–Σ mass splitting originates from diquark correlations. Through diquark and orbital angular momentum decomposition of light excited baryons, in contrast to the traditional quark model, we offer a deeper insight into the internal structure of baryons. Furthermore, we calculated the electromagnetic (transition) form factors of Λ and Σ baryons. These results of mass spectrum, diquark and orbital angular momentum decomposition and electromagnetic (transition) form factors, elucidate detailed pictures of light baryons and hyperons within the continuum Schwinger functional method. Finally, an outlook will be given for further exploration of the baryons structure and QCD.

Dr. Langtian Liu received his PhD degree from the School of Physics, Peking University, Beijing, China in 2020.From 2020 to 2022, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the School of Physics, Nanjing University, Nanjing,China. From 2022 to 2024, he was a CSC-DAAD postdoctoral scholarship fellow in the Institute for Theoretical Physics, University of Giessen, Giessen, Germany. Now he is a junior lecture in the College of Science, Shantou University, Shantou, China. His research interests focus on the hadron physics, non-perturbative QCD.
