报告题目Infrared Absorption Spectroscopy for Gas Sensing (全英)

报告摘要:

Gas  sensing technologies are essential in environmental monitoring,  industrial processes, and medical diagnostics. Infrared Absorption  Spectroscopy, a non-invasive analytical technique, plays an important  role in gas detection due to its selectivity, sensitivity and  responsiveness. In this talk, I will present our work on the development  and application of gas sensing systems based on several infrared  absorption spectroscopy techniques, including Tunable Diode Laser  Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS), Cavity-Enhanced Absorption Spectroscopy  (CEAS), Photoacoustic Spectroscopy (PAS) and Quartz-Enhanced  Photoacoustic Spectroscopy (QEPAS). The discussion will cover the  principles, advantages, and limitations of each technique, as well as  their implementation in detecting trace gases in different environments.  I will also provide an outlook on our research and ongoing efforts to  enhance the performance and applicability of gas sensing systems.

报告人简介:

Dr.  Weilin Ye received her MS and PhD degrees from the College of  Electronic Science and Engineering, Jilin University, China, in 2009 and  2012, respectively. From 2016 to 2018, she worked as a post-doctoral  fellow in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and Rice  Quantum Institute, Rice University, Houston, USA. From 2022 to 2024, she  was a visiting scholar at the Photonics Research Center of The Hong  Kong Polytechnic University Shenzhen Research Institute. Now she is an  associate professor in the College of Engineering, Shantou University.  Her research interests include optical sensors, infrared spectroscopy,  photoacoustic spectroscopy, and their sensing applications.
