2006/08-今：汕头大学，理学院海洋生物研究所，教授；

本科生课程：细胞生物学、海洋环境管理与环境影响评估、生物学总论、海洋生物技术；            

研究生课程：水生毒理学、生态毒理学、毒理学进展、海洋生态学

主要研究兴趣：    

现为广东省海洋生物技术重点实验室海洋生态与环境方向负责人。主要的研究领域包括海洋保护生物学、海洋珍稀物种保护生物学、海洋环境污染与风险评估、海洋生态系统健康评估与修复等。

研究成果：

共发表论文超过100篇，共申请专利7项，其中获专利授权3项。同时，以合著者身份合著《中华白海豚及其它鲸豚》一书，并以副主编的身份编著《海洋生态修复-理论与实践》一书。2013年，获“PEW Fellowship”海洋保育全球候选人提名；2017年，作为第三完成人获国家海洋科学技术奖二等奖。部分论文成果如下：
