Bowling Green State University is one of the four-corner universities in Ohio. The graduate program in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics includes the following degrees: Master of Arts in mathematics, Master of Arts in statistics, Master of Arts in applied mathematics, MAT in mathematics, Master of Sciences in applied statistics, Ph.D. in mathematics, and Ph.D. in statistics. The program attracts graduate students all over the world. Currently, Chinese students in the program include graduates from Nankai University, Fudan University, Shandong University, Nanjing University, and the University of Science and Technology of China. As one of the strategic plans in adding talented students into the program from different locations in China, we are interested in students graduated from Shantou University this year.
In the talk, Dr. John Chen will describe each of the five mathematics programs offered at BGSU, financial assistance, admission, and application procedures. This talk provides an opportunity for interested students to meet with one of the decision makers in the admission process of the Math/Stat graduate program at BGSU.
