报告人简介：
金灵，香港理工大学土木及环境工程学系&医疗科技及资讯学系联聘校长青年学者助理教授、香港城市大学海洋污染国家重点实验室成员。主要从事化学污染物与微生物联合效应评估方面的研究，涵盖的环境议题包括空气污染与人体健康、海洋污染与濒危动物健康、病原微生物环境传播、塑料际化学与微生物多样性及其生态健康风险。主持国家自然科学基金和香港研资局项目等10项。已在Nature、The Innovation、National Science Review、Environmental Science & Technology等领域顶尖期刊上发表70余篇论文。相关成果入选环境毒理学与化学学会-宝洁环境研究基金、Environmental Science and Technology Letters最佳研究论文奖、The Innovation最受欢迎论文奖。曾担任Environmental Science & Technology城市空气污染与人体健康特刊客座编辑，现任ACS Environmental Au编委、The Innovation青年编委。
报告摘要：
The "One Health" concept acknowledges the intertwined nature of human, animal, and environmental health, calling for a unified, multisectoral, and interdisciplinary approach to manage health risks at the nexus of humans, animals, and their shared environment. A pivotal element of the "One Health" framework is the investigation into the intricate interactions between chemical pollutants and environmental microbial communities. Our current research delves into the microbial ecology associated with the plastisphere and the implications of marine algal toxins on cetacean health. Through these case studies, we aim to scrutinize the dynamics between human-made chemicals and environmental microbiota, shedding light on the processes by which their interaction influences both human health and the vitality of ecosystems.
